THE HUNGERFORD BOOKSHOP

Having worked in the courtyard next to the Hungerford Bookshop prior to having children, I frequently used to pop in for a moment of calm from the world rushing around me. It's amazing how a good book can be such an immense form of escapism drawing you into another world. It therefore seemed appropriate when researching how best to add recommended books to the 'Quiet Moments Book Club' boxes, that I should look to the advice and guidance of the award-winning independent Hungerford Bookshop. They sell a wide range of new books (the latest new paperbacks to handsome hardbacks for your coffee table) including an excellent Children's section. Downstairs they also have over 4000 second-hand titles too. If you are local or if life takes you past the shop, check out their events as they run regular author events.

The Hungerford Bookshop will be recommending and advising on the texts that will go in the book club boxes. I'm excited to have the support of such a highly acclaimed bookshop!
